Amazon India has signed a pact with 5 state governments to interact with employable Individuals with Disabilities (PwDs) and allow their participation within the mainstream workforce.


These states are Haryana, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.


The memorandum of understanding which extends till 2026 goals to offer skilling and employment alternatives to PwD candidates within the 5 states.


“With an purpose to interact with employable Individuals with Disabilities (PwDs) and to allow their participation within the mainstream workforce, Amazon India signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with 5 State Governments, together with Haryana, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu,” Amazon mentioned in a launch.


With this, Amazon goals to offer PwDs assist with on-the-job coaching, intervention and an surroundings of acceptance and inclusion.
