Amy Schumer has had sufficient of her critics after the backlash to a current joke.
The comic on Friday addressed controversy swirling round a social media put up she made earlier within the week about Nicole Kidman on the U.S. Open. The “Trainwreck” star had jokingly steered that the actor wasn’t human due to her easy pose in a picture from the occasion, solely to delete Monday’s put up hours later amid heavy criticism — however she is now doubling down.

Schumer, who has beforehand made headlines for jesting about racy or delicate topics, clarified that her caption wasn’t supposed as a diss.
“Okay so the joke I was making was the way she was posed didn’t seem like how a human sits,” the comic wrote on Friday. “I was not making fun of how she looks. Nicole Kidman is beautiful and one of the most incredible actors of all time.”
The comedian mentioned she would finally forgive her followers, even when they proceed to chastise her.
“To the people who write hateful things below I forgive you as a mother, a woman and most importantly as someone who also likes hot goss,” Schumer concluded. “Have a good weekend.”
