Balochistan Liberation Military militants claimed accountability for an assault on a convoy of Chinese language engineers within the southwest of Pakistan on Sunday, Agence France-Presse reported.
The incident occurred because the engineers have been travelling to Gwadar Port, a Chinese language-financed mission, the report stated, citing the group on the assault. No accidents have been reported inside the convoy, China’s International Occasions stated, citing unidentified “Chinese personnel” in Gwadar.
Two militants have been killed and two others have been wounded in a gunfight with Pakistani safety forces in Gwadar, Aaj Information reported, with out mentioning the Chinese language engineers. Safety forces have cordoned off the realm, it stated. The assault occurred a day after Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar was named caretaker prime minister till elections are held. Kakar is from Balochistan and there’s no indication but that the incidents are linked.
