Jersey ministers looking at disposable vape ban

Two ministers have introduced they wish to transfer in the direction of banning the sale of disposable vapes in Jersey.

The ministers for Infrastructure and for the Setting mentioned they have been wanting on the transfer for each environmental and health-related causes.

Deputies Tom Binet and Jonathan Renouf mentioned the proposed ban could be topic to session with stakeholders.

The ban might be introduced in by extending the Single Use Plastics Legislation.

This legislation prohibits the distribution of single-use plastic and paper luggage within the island and was designed so different objects might be added.
