White Home press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre bristled when questioned Tuesday on Democrat voters’ views on President Biden’s age and claims from an upcoming e book that administration employees deal with him “like a toddler.”
“President Biden is the oldest president in U.S. historical past. Why does White Home employees deal with him like a child?” Fox Information’ Peter Doocy requested Jean-Pierre in the course of the day by day White Home press briefing.
“Nobody treats the president of the US, the commander in chief, like a child. That is ridiculous. It is a ridiculous declare,” Jean-Pierre responded.

Doocy cited an upcoming e book by The Atlantic’s Franklin Foer, “The Final Politician: Inside Joe Biden’s White Home and the Wrestle for America’s Future,” through which the writer writes that Biden, after showing to name for regime change in Russia in March 2022, “fumed to mates about how he was handled like a toddler.”
“Was John Kennedy ever babied like that?” Biden requested, in line with the e book.
Jean-Pierre dismissed the excerpt, arguing that books inevitably get written about each administration with “quite a lot of claims.”

“That isn’t uncommon. That occurs on a regular basis. And we’re not going to litigate these right here. That is one thing that we’re not going to talk to,” she mentioned. She went on to say that the excerpt was as a substitute making a degree about “how the worth of [Biden’s] expertise and knowledge resulted in rallying the free world in opposition to authoritarianism.”
Jean-Pierre used the declare to try to redirect to Biden’s upcoming journey to the G20 in India.
Nevertheless, Doocy turned to a latest Wall Road Journal ballot that discovered two-thirds of Democrats assume Biden is simply too outdated to run for president once more.

“Look, this is what I do know. Here is what I can communicate to. I can communicate to that – a president who has knowledge. I can communicate to a president who has expertise. I can communicate to a president who has achieved historic – has taken historic motion and has delivered in historic items of laws. And that is necessary,” Jean-Pierre mentioned.
She went on to tout Biden’s accomplishments pertaining to infrastructure, the price of pharmaceuticals and the Inflation Discount Act, amongst others.
